This week’s Accelerated Reader update sees an exciting new addition – S2’s weekly word counts! The Accelerated Reader programme is a significant investment in literacy and allows parents and carers to see progress made by their child or ward through the book levels pupils are reading at. Please encourage regular private reading at home to support this. The website arbookfind.co.uk includes dropdown menus to help pupils identify books they might enjoy within their level, and the school library and individual English classrooms are well stocked with books available to borrow.
