With another academic year at an end, Stranraer Academy opens the final chapter with a newsletter that sings of spirit, celebration, and shared success.

Our Summer 2025 Newsletter is not just a collection of pages—it is a portrait of a school community alive with creativity, compassion, and curiosity. From  Belgium to concert halls, sports fields to photographic studios, our pupils have truly embraced every opportunity, challenge, and moment.

You’ll read of pupils who stood in silence at the Menin Gate, moved by history’s weight. Of students who raised thousands for causes close to their hearts through powerful Youth Philanthropy presentations and heartfelt fundraising. You’ll meet young creatives whose art, photography, music and drama burst with originality and depth.

Our sports stories shine just as brightly—whether it’s the roar of the U15 boys clinching the Hunter Shield, the grace of our dancers, or the medal-winning triumphs of our Scottish Disability Sport athletes.
