Stranraer Academy is thrilled to express heartfelt gratitude to the Community Reuse Shop for their recent, incredibly generous donation of art materials. This week, we received a treasure trove of supplies that will undoubtedly enhance our students’ artistic endeavours and creativity.
Ross James picked up these materials and upon arrival, he was warmly greeted by Vivien Jones, whose assistance in organising the donation was invaluable and it included a fabulous assortment of paints, pencils, paper, and various other art supplies.
The Community Reuse Shop is an integral part of The Furniture Project, a nationally recognised social enterprise dedicated to combatting poverty in Wigtownshire. With a longstanding partnership with Dumfries & Galloway Council and a 20-year commitment to delivering reuse services across the region, they strive to make a positive impact in the community.
We are immensely grateful for the ongoing support and generosity of the Community Reuse Shop.
