Dear Parents, 

I hope this message finds you well. As the Acting Headteacher, I wanted to share some exciting news with you. After a rigorous selection process, I am thrilled to announce that Katie Castle has been appointed as our new Library Assistant. Katie’s extensive experience in reading interventions and programs from her previous role as a Primary School Teacher, coupled with her genuine passion for reading, make her a valuable addition to our school community. Please join me in extending warm congratulations to Katie, and we are eagerly looking forward to working with her. 

Over the past two weeks, our students have exhibited exemplary conduct during their exams, and their level of preparedness is a testament to the academy staff, their year-round dedication and the meticulous preparations leading up to the exam dates.  

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the Bus Guidance, and if you have any questions or need further clarification, do not hesitate to reach out to us. Together, we can ensure the safety and well-being of our students during their trips. 

On a lighter note, it seems we are in for a delightful weekend of weather. I hope you and your family can find moments of joy and relaxation, enjoying the outdoors in your own way. Personally, I am eagerly looking forward to paddleboarding and savouring a delicious barbecue.
