Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share some updates and express my appreciation for your ongoing support.
Firstly, I had the pleasure of touring the school today, observing the notice boards and presentations in each area. The school is looking fantastic! I want to express my gratitude to all staff who have dedicated their time and showcased our students’ work and achievements with great creativity.
On the topic of celebrating student achievement, I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved in the planning and support of our Awards Ceremonies. The feedback I have received has been overwhelmingly positive. It was heartwarming to see so many attending, with some even making it to all three ceremonies. Your support is genuinely appreciated.
As we approach the end of the term, the following weeks are filled with various activities. We have our new S1s visiting and S5 Prom next week and the S6 Graduation the week after next. The final week of term will be bustling with exciting events.
Lastly, I would like to share some feedback I received this week regarding the overall atmosphere of our school. Numerous visitors and staff members have commented on how welcoming, friendly, and warm Stranraer Academy feels. Many have expressed a desire to work here and have praised the happiness of our students. This positive environment is a testament to the interactions and efforts of every one of you within our school community.
Best regards,
Mr Jamie Farquhar
