Dear parents/carers,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the incredible efforts of our students this term, I am immensely proud of their achievements. We have one week left, and it promises to be a busy one.
Here’s an overview of the activities planned for the last week of term:
Monday: It will be a normal day, with a focus on maintaining productive yet creative learning and teaching.
Tuesday: We have a non-uniform day scheduled – recommended donation of £1 to charity
Wednesday: We have planned an exciting day filled with activities and sports. Details and timings will be confirmed with pupils directly next week.
Thursday: I am delighted that over 500 students will be going on a range of educational trips. To ensure an enjoyable and manageable experience for those remaining, we have organised three rotations for S2s, S3s, and S4/5/6s. The rotations will include IT/Art/Media, PE, and a Kahoot Quiz. Details will be shared with pupils directly.
Friday: It will be a normal day with an extended lunch period, our teachers will have the flexibility to merge classes creatively and provide an enjoyable yet productive day for students in school.
S6 Graduation: I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who attended this special event. It was a lovely evening, and we received very positive feedback from The North West Castle.
Acting HT Update: I have been asked to continue as Acting Headteacher after the summer, and I am delighted to do so. Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Mr Jamie Farquhar
Acting Headteacher
