📖 How to Use
🎬 Getting Started
- Click "Start Camera"
- Choose your resolution (480p, 720p, or 1080p)
- Position your object
- Click "CAPTURE" or press Space
- Move object slightly and repeat
📐 Resolution Settings
480p (Small) - Fast exports, smaller files
720p (Medium) - Balanced quality & size ⭐
1080p (Full HD) - Best quality, larger files
⏱️ Time Lapse Mode
Set interval in days, hours, minutes, and seconds, then click "Start" to automatically capture frames at your specified interval. Perfect for long-term projects like plant growth or construction time lapses.
🔍 Fill Mode (Mobile)
On mobile devices, click the "Fill" button to crop/zoom the video to fill the entire screen. Perfect for portrait mode. Captured frames will match what you see on screen.
🎤 Voice Commands
Enable "Voice" and say "capture frame"
📱 Bluetooth Remote Support
⚠️ Not Supported in Web Apps: Bluetooth camera remotes (like AB Shutter 3) work with native camera apps but cannot trigger actions inside web browsers. This is a browser security limitation that protects users from malicious websites.
Why your remote won't work here:
- Remotes send volume button commands to the operating system
- These commands are handled before the browser receives them
- Web apps cannot intercept system-level hardware buttons
- Native camera apps can use them because they have system permissions
✅ What Works Instead:
- Keyboard Space/Enter - Best for desktop
- Voice commands - Say "capture frame" (hands-free!)
- On-screen Capture button - Always works
👻 Onion Skinning & Blend Modes
Onion Skin: Shows ghost overlay of previous frames to help with alignment.
Frames Slider: Controls how many previous frames to show (1-8)
Opacity Slider: Controls transparency of the ghost overlay
Blend Modes: Changes how frames composite together. ⚠️ Requires 2+ captured frames to see the effect clearly. Try different modes:
- Normal - Standard overlay
- Multiply - Darkens overlapping areas
- Screen - Lightens overlapping areas
- Lighten - Shows lighter pixels
- Darken - Shows darker pixels
⌨️ Shortcuts
