Stranraer Academy’s Writing Competition: Unleash Your Creativity!

Calling all students from S1 to S3 at Stranraer Academy! Are you bursting with creativity? Do you have a story to tell, a persuasive argument to make, or a journalistic itch to scratch? Here’s your chance to let your voice be heard!

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Writing Competition, inviting all students to showcase their writing talents. Whether you’re penning a short story, crafting a persuasive speech, reporting on a topic close to your heart, or weaving a poetic masterpiece, we want to hear from you.

Entries should be a maximum of 800 words, allowing you to explore your chosen theme or narrative in depth while keeping it concise and engaging.

To enter, simply submit your piece, clearly labeled with your full name, to your English teacher or Mrs. Fay by Friday, May 3rd. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to share your creativity with the Stranraer Academy community!

Now, onto the exciting part – the prizes! The overall winner of the competition will receive a £25 voucher along with the prestigious Stranraer Academy Young Writer’s Shield. But that’s not all – runners-up will also be rewarded with a voucher and a fabulous goody bag!
