On 20th of March 2025 13 Advanced Higher English pupils ventured off on a sunny day to Edinburgh. The main purpose of this trip was to experience the Arthur Miller play ‘Death of a Salesman’ at the Festival Theatre. We arrived in such good time that we were able to go on a walking tour of the South part of the city. We had a look into the Law Faculty of the University and of course, you cannot visit the Southside without going to the grave of ‘Greyfriar’s Bobby’. We spent some time in the very sunny ‘Meadows’ where the pupils soaked up the truly academic atmosphere of our capital city. We arrived back exhausted but enthused after our day of culture. This was a fabulous trip made even better by the enthusiasm of our pupils who were all fabulous ambassadors for the school.
