Stranraer Academy Student Shines as Dumfries and Galloway Life Award Finalist

Issie Lamberton, has achieved yet another impressive milestone by being selected as a finalist in the prestigious Dumfries and Galloway Life Awards. Out of hundreds of nominations, Issie stands out as a finalist in the Young Community Champion of the Year category.

Issie’s recognition comes as no surprise to those who have witnessed her dedication both in and outside of school. Her relentless effort in her studies, her volunteer work with the Lochryan Highland Dance Events Group, and her various extracurricular activities have shown her passion, determination, and commitment to making a difference.

Being named a finalist in such a competitive and respected regional awards program is a testament to Issie’s hard work and remarkable achievements. Her journey is an inspiration to her peers, and her place among the finalists is well-deserved recognition for her contributions to the community.
