Exciting Opportunity for S3 Female Pupils: Engineering the Future for Girls Programme 2025
We are excited to announce the return of the Engineering the Future for Girls programme, an exclusive opportunity for S3 female pupils to explore the world of engineering. This fully-funded, 4-day programme will take place from Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd May 2025 at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
Programme Overview:
The programme offers a unique chance for S3 girls to visit the University of Strathclyde campus, where they will hear from university staff and engineering professionals. Participants will gain valuable insights into engineering education and career paths. Alongside informative talks, pupils will take part in hands-on activities led by experienced engineers, providing practical experience in the field.
Key Programme Details:
Fully-funded: All costs, including travel expenses, are covered.
Non-residential: Participants will need to arrange their own transport to and from the University of Strathclyde campus, with mentors assisting pupils at key transport hubs in Glasgow each day.
No teacher accompaniment required: Teachers do not need to accompany pupils on this trip.
How to Apply:
Applications are open from Wednesday 15th January 2025 via the online application form. Pupils must provide the name and contact details of a teacher who will support their application with a reference. Teachers will receive an automated email with a link to submit their statement.
