Stranraer Academy Golf Championship 2026 – Results! On Friday, 11 young golfers took part in the school golf championship under some breezy conditions at Stranraer Golf Club.

The results were as follows: School Golf Champion and Winner of the John Monteith Trophy Duncan Barrowman – 75 strokes Runner Up Connor Gibson – 78 strokes 3rd Place Riley Gratton – 81 strokes Stableford Handicap Competition Winner Sophia Chung – 42pts Runner Up Kieran Patterson – 38pts 3rd Place James Orr – 36pts 4th Hole – Longest Drive Kieran Patterson – by an inch! (Honourable mention to Mason Bell who just missed out!) 12th Hole – Closest to the Pin Riley Gratton Stranraer Academy PE Department would again like to thank Stranraer Golf Club Creachmore for their kind assistance, hosting our event and also for providing prizes for our pupils!
